Christmas and New Years break

Over Christmas Steve and I had 10 days off. So we decided to take a little road trip down the coast. First we camped two nights in Nambucca Heads. It is located Half way between Brisbane and Sydney. Great place! Tried Surfing for the first time, loved every minute, even though it was exhausting. Other than that, we explored, relaxed and had fun beach time.

Then we travelled onward and went to New Castle. We stayed at a friends apartment that had the below picture as his view from his living room, and bedroom as well. The place actually has three balconies.

Then we spent two nights with friends in the Hunter Valley at the Cypress Lakes Golf resort.
Did some wine tasting, relaxing, swimming etc.

Then we camped three nights in Mylstom. This is where we spent Christmas Eve and Day, and boxing day. Santa even came to visit on his fire truck. It was a great spot, the beach was on one side of our campsite, and the river on the other. However the surf wasn't the best, the waves broke right onto the shore.
