Steve and I decided to celebrate my birthday at Sono. We were also formally celebrating our engagement!! Since I forgot my camera last weekend, I have no pictures from our weekend away to Moreton island. We spent three days, two nights at a secluded camp site on Moreton. Absolute paradise at campsite CB5- 50 meters from the ocean, priceless views, camp fire, lots of yummy food, and attacking Kookaburras. While my last lamb chop was on its way to my mouth a kookaburra swooped by slapping me in the face and stole the chop right from my hand. Cheeky bugger stayed around to give us a show while he attempted to whack the meat off the bone- great experience. First the dingos steal our food on Fraser Island, and now a kookaburra attacks me, what's next? Wish I was back in the Island now............. BUT happiness to come b/c I'm home in my home and native land in 3 days!!!!!!!!!! Off to see my little Ame to kiss those chubby checker cheeks!!!!
